INSTRUCTIONS: Using the IWD Pledge Cards

In your IWD Event Pack you will have received a set of IWD Pledge Cards.  

Purpose of the IWD Pledge Cards

The purpose of this resource is to encourage participants to consider and commit to a specific action that can help make the world a better place for women.

By actively committing to positive action, participants are engaged to help forge women's advancement - whether at work, across industry, at home, or in the community. 

Using the IWD Pledge Cards provides a key opportunity for participants to reflect on their mindset and actions, and to commit to playing a part in forging a more gender- equal world.

How to use the IWD Pledge Cards

Some organizations like to add their own logo to the IWD Pledge cards to co-brand the asset. You will notice a space in the top corner for co-branding. Co-branding is welcomed and can be done by adding your organization's logo to the asset.    

Display the IWD Pledge Cards on a table, so that users can review and select one that is most pertinent for them.

Invite users to hold the IWD Pledge Card, while a colleague takes an engaging photograph. Think about the background in terms of suitability, organizational branding, colorings, lighting, etc.

These assets provide a highly engaging visual resource to use in social media posts, so post the image on social media using the hashtags: #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction.
