Phoebe Whitlock is a highly accomplished legal professional with a diverse background. Phoebe has worked for high-growth start-ups as well as global technology giants.

Phoebe's dedication to making a positive impact extends beyond her professional roles, as evidenced by her involvement in charitable positions. She currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Codebar since November 2023, where she supports the CEO, represents the charity at functions, and leads the development of the board. Additionally, as a Director at IPAN (Intellectual Property Awareness Network) since January 2024, Phoebe plays a key role in the secretariat, organizing events and webinars to champion the importance and understanding of intellectual property for businesses of all sizes. Her commitment to gender equality is further demonstrated through her role as a Delegate at UN Women UK, actively participating in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68).

Phoebe's excellence in the legal field has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by her recognition with two prestigious nominations. She was shortlisted for the in-house rising star award at both the Women and Diversity in Law Awards and the Women, Influence, and Power in Law Awards.

In terms of her professional qualifications, Phoebe was admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in September 2023, and she was called to the Bar by Gray’s Inn in October 2019. Her qualifications also include being a Qualified Civil Mediator by ADR-ODR International since September 2017.

Phoebe's commitment to continuous learning is reflected in her academic achievements. She completed her MSc in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Oxford in 2024. Phoebe's dissertation focused on generative AI and copyright.
