City of London IWD Breakfast
When: March 6 2020
Where: London, United Kingdom
Make a note in your diary for the City of London International Women’s Day (IWD) Breakfast to celebrate the contribution of women to the Square Mile. The event will have particular focus on encouraging and supporting young people on their chosen career pathway and the morning promises to bring new ideas and inspiration.
Ranvir Singh, the award-winning presenter and Political Editor for Good Morning Britain, will be chairing the occasion with a panel of distinguished speakers.
The chosen charity for the event is Refuge. The event has run in the Guildhall for the past 12 years in which the International Women’s Day City breakfasts have raised over £318,000 for Refuge - a wonderful achievement for which the charity is most grateful. Since opening the world’s first refuge nearly 50 years ago, they have been saving and rebuilding the lives of thousands of women and children who experience domestic violence every year.
Your organisation can take a table of ten places in return for a minimum donation of £1,300 to Refuge. IWD's philosophy is to keep this suggested donation to a level that keeps the event open to a diverse range of organisations. If your organisation is able to donate more, this would be most welcome. There are also a number of individual places available on request. To register your interest in sponsoring a table, email email@example.com
