Every voice counts

Rebecca Meredith, CEO, Transform Trust

 IWD 2022

It has been wonderful to hear from so many of our children regarding International Women's Day.

I’ve been extraordinarily lucky to have met some truly inspirational women within my own family and at every stage of my career.

As a female CEO my role is the same as any CEO, male or female – and that is to do the best that I can.

My advice to anyone is to be authentic, work hard and don’t be afraid to ask for help. It can be lonely at the top if you don’t have a good team around you, so be kind and empower your colleagues.

Hopefully our girls will not have to encounter any prejudices growing up, but if they do, I want them to feel equipped to call it out and #BreakTheBias.

Our extra-curricular programmes are designed to do just that; build confidence and resilience in every child.

We are interested in developing the whole child, broadening their horizons, raising their aspirations and shaping their character to not only believe they are capable of achieving great things, but also instilling a sense of purpose and citizenship for them, leading to positive and pro-active participation in their communities.

As a Trust, we firmly believe that education has the power to transform the lives of the children in our schools and we are committed to enabling them to achieve their full potential.
