Tottenham Hotspur players held a virtual football session for International Women's Day

For International Women's Day, Lucy Quinn and Ria Percival from Tottenham Hotspur Women joined the Tottenahm Hotspur Foundation's virtual football session.

"International Women's Day is a great day to celebrate how far women and the women's game has come, but also a day to reflect on how we can work on doing even more," says Lucy.

"The Foundation is doing fantastic work to offer opportunities to women and girls and it was great to speak to some of those women."


Showcasing female stars

Tottenham Hotspur further celebrated International Women's Day by showcasing its female stars on Twitter.

These players included Head Coach Rehanne Skinner, goalkeeper Aurora Mikalsen, and defender Lucia Marte Leon.

Celebrating important women

It wasn't just the female players getting involved in International Women's Day celebrations.

Tottenham and England player Harry Kane took the opportunity to celebrate the important women in his life.

He shared photos of his partner Katie Goodland and his two daughters.

"I am very lucky to have incredible women in my life. Happy international women’s day to all women around the world," he posted.
