Give To Gain: Artist Aurora Sky says giving isn’t a loss, it’s how we build each other up
Art is far more than decoration. It is a language that shapes how we see the world. From protest posters to empowering murals, lettering design has long communicated messages of resistance and solidarity.
Each International Women’s Day, artists are celebrated as trhey transform important messages into visual statements using their creativity to inspire change.
Here, we shine a spotlight on one creative, Aurora Sky, and showcase her fabulous IWD 2026 Give to Gain design.
“This year's Typism campaign with International Women's Day is Give To Gain, and I was so excited to be able to participate in helping to share this message. For me, this phrase is a reminder that when women share what we know and what we have, we all move forward together,” said Aurora. “Whether it’s support, knowledge, visibility, or resources, giving isn’t a loss. It’s how we build each other up. When women thrive, we all rise, and what a beautifully powerful thing that that is."
Creating a strong and elegant design

Aurora wanted her IWD design to feel elegant, but strong, in the same way femininity can be graceful and powerful at the same time.
Aurora also used all purples to reflect the color of International Women's Day.
