IWD Give to Gain lettering design represents collective strength and generosity

Creative expression has the power to move people in ways that facts alone often cannot.

When design carries purpose, it becomes more than art. It becomes a catalyst for awareness, conversation, and lasting change.

International Women's Day sees many creative individuals and groups come together to raise awareness about gender equality and help drive meaningful change. 

Each year the IWD Lettering Challenge, in association with the global Typism community, calls for creative designs that support an annual IWD focus and showcase the impressive talent of creators. The challenge aims to raise awareness, showcase talent, and provide visibility for creatives while supporting gender equality.  

UK creative marketing agency Starbots Creative participated in the challenge, creating some engaging Give to Gain lettering designs. 

Creating bold and playful 3D typography 

An impactful design was created by Starbots Creative Head of Design Sylvina Johnson who leads the agency's creative team, making sure every design they create is not just visually striking, but also meaningful and inclusive. 

"Here’s Sylvina’s bold interpretation of this year’s theme Give to Gain. The playful 3D display typography bursts beyond the frame to symbolise the idea that when we give more, the impact grows beyond boundaries. The design represents collective strength and generosity. When we support one another, we can create momentum that cannot be contained," said Starbots Creative.
