Rangers Football Club marks IWD Give To Gain campaign, supporting and uplifting women
Across the world of sport, clubs have the power to bring people together, inspire communities and create lasting change. When those platforms are used to champion equality and opportunity, their impact reaches far beyond the pitch, court, or track.
International Women’s Day 2026 saw Rangers Football Club, a top division club based in Glasgow, Scotland, support the Give To Gain campaign.
"To mark International Women’s Day 2026, Rangers Football Club are supporting this year’s Give To Gain campaign. The theme encourages people, organisations, and communities to support and uplift women by giving resources, opportunities, time, or advocacy, the idea is that when people contribute to advancing women and girls, everyone benefits and society becomes more equal. Whether it’s through donations, knowledge, resources, infrastructure, visibility, advocacy, education, training, mentoring, or time, contributing to women's advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world," said Rangers Football Club.
Showcasing leadership, inspiring ambition, highlighting impact

Committed to the belief that opportunities for involvement are for everyone, Rangers Football Club proudly celebrated International Women's Day by welcoming four of its academy players to Broadwood Stadium.

"Football is more than what happens on the pitch. Behind every match is a team making it all possible," said the Club.
Stepping into key roles across the club

On matchday, academy players India, Gracie, Mirrin, and Sophie stepped into key roles across the club. These roles included taking charge of Rangers Football Club's social media channels, delivering PA announcements, supporting matchday operations, and much more.
