Veronica Mezio's Give To Gain lettering design celebrates concepts of sharing, supporting and growing

Creativity can be a very powerful catalyst for change, offering innovative ways to challenge ideas and encourage a positive future. 

International Women's Day (IWD) supports artists worldwide who are actively using their creative talent to help drive positive change and create spaces for dialogue, discussion, and connection. 

Each year the IWD Lettering Challenge, in association with the global Typism community, calls for creative designs that support an annual IWD focus and showcase the impressive talent of creators.

The challenge aims to raise awareness, showcase talent, and provide visibility for creatives supporting gender equality.  

Here, we shine a spotlight on one creative, Veronica Mezio, and showcase her fabulous IWD 2026 Give To Gain design. 

"...I celebrate the power of sharing, supporting, and growing together. My participation in the Typism challenge stems from a simple yet powerful idea: "give to win". Thank you to the amazing women who are present in my life every day and who were there for me when I needed them most. They are my source of inspiration," says Veronica.

Thriving on challenging projects

Veronica Mezio is a graphic designer and lettering artist residing in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Over time her work has focused mainly on lettering and calligraphy. 

A considerable amount of Veronica's work consists of sign writing on murals, blackboards, and storefront windows. The font and its embellished design are the main components of her creations.

"I get excited with challenging projects that require thorough research into unique and creative solutions. My job, which I enjoy tremendously, is a constant search of shapes, materials and places to display my fonts and communicate a message through my art," explains Veronica.
