Our communities need us to step up and choose to challenge

Keith Nealon, CEO, Bazaarvoice

 IWD 2021

For years, Bazaarvoice has championed efforts to elevate communities who have been marginalized, to challenge gender bias and inequality, and to advocate for the women who have helped grow Bazaarvoice into the organization it is today. We could not be more proud to partner with International Women's Day as we continue to #ChooseToChallenge and continue the important work and forge towards a more inclusive world.

Our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Task Force includes 12 members across 6 offices with the collective goal to achieve a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace for all employees. Pay Equity Reviews, DEI Speaker Series, and focused training on Implicit Bias & Allyship training is just the start - there are a number of initiatives in progress that will get us closer to our goals.

Within our team, 49% of our global team identify as women. 53% of our global managers identify as women, and 48% at the director level (or above) identify as women. As a company that works with cutting edge technology, we believe it is our responsibility to uplift women in tech fields and create opportunities to encourage and empower future female leaders - which is why we support Women in STEM, choosing 5 female students each year  pursuing a degree in a technical field of study to receive an academic scholarship.

We believe we’re Stronger Together as a crucial value at Bazaarvoice, we bring our whole selves to the mission and find values in diverse perspectives. We champion what's best for Bazaarvoice before individuals or teams. As a stronger company we build a stronger community. Our communities need us to step up and choose to challenge - we’ve committed to advocacy & empowerment for all that ultimately results in sustainable change that will celebrate the achievements of our incredible community of women.
