Choosing to stand up for an equitable workplace

At Ascensus, everything we do is guided by our Core Values: People Matter. Quality First. Integrity Always.®
It’s no coincidence that we lead with People Matter, for it underscores our strong belief that every associate brings value to our organization – and that our people, more than any other attribute, distinguish us with our clients, partners, and savers.
It’s in that spirit we join International Women’s Day with the many other organizations who share our commitment to gender equity in this year’s #ChooseToChallenge efforts.
We know that our success as an organization is sustained by the diversity of thought, background, and perspective that only a workforce mirroring those we serve can offer. That most assuredly includes promoting gender diversity, as well as equity in career development and overall opportunity.
With over 60% of our associate population comprised of women, we continuously challenge ourselves to do all we can to support their career and personal aspirations.
- Female leaders contribute as role models and advocates across our organization, including those leading lines of business and centers of excellence as part of our senior leadership team.
- Our Ascensus Women’s Network (Better Together) - one of the largest employee resource groups we empower at Ascensus - celebrates, supports, and encourages gender diversity and equality, and provides year-round associate engagement and advocacy opportunities.
- And we remain committed to building even greater gender diversity and equity across our leadership and associate populations through our recruiting, leadership development, community engagement, and associate training programs.
I am convinced that each day provides a fresh opportunity to drive enlightened change in our organization, industry, and communities. It is our accountability as leaders to choose to stand up for equity in the workplace - and challenge both norms, and ourselves, to foster a workplace that welcomes all, embraces our differences as our strengths, and values what each individual has to offer.
We should aspire for nothing less.
