Celebrating women who make history in their own way, every day
Kathy Warden, Chairman, CEO & President, Northrop Grumman
IWD 2021
At Northrop Grumman, we work hard to ensure every member of our team feels valued and appreciated for who they are. We are proud to unite with companies around the world to celebrate International Women’s Day and the importance of women’s contributions – on this day and every day.
Choose to Challenge aligns with Northrop Grumman’s commitment to advancing an inclusive and gender-equal world. Women play a vital role in every area of our business, including our executive leadership team and our Board of Directors. Every year we set diversity performance goals, and in 2020, we not only met our goals, we were recognized as one of the top 25 companies among the S&P 500 for our gender equality performance.
We will continue to build on this momentum with proactive steps to champion diversity, equity and inclusion. For years we have provided unconscious bias and microaggression awareness training. We understand the importance of diversity training and continue to provide updated modules as well as a library of resources to help put what we learn into action.
And, we remain committed to nurturing and launching girls and women in STEM education and training to ensure a robust pipeline of technical pioneers who will help make our world a better place for generations to come.
I’m proud to lead an organization that recognizes the value and power of a diverse, equitable and inclusive community of problem solvers. I commit to Choose to Challenge and continue to call out inequality on International Women’s Day and every day.
