According to Gartner, in 2021, women accounted for 15% of executive roles in the supply chain workforce, down from 17% in 2020. As a leading global supply chain solutions provider, Wesco is committed to building an inclusive company culture that leverages diversity and supports professional development opportunities for women.

In 2021, Wesco created four business resource groups – WIN (Women’s Impact Network), Mosaic (Black, Latino, Indigenous, and People of Color), Pride (LGBTQ+), and Volt (Veterans) – to build communities where our workforce can thrive. Each resource group acts as a sounding board for our strategic diversity objectives and provides opportunities for employee development, training and retention. For International Women’s Day in 2021, our Women’s Impact Network organized a virtual event with over 800 attendees from around the globe. We look forward to hosting a similar event in 2022 with educational sessions focused on breaking down bias to create impactful change.
