Let’s break the bias together

IWD 2022
One more year, from Theramex we want to participate very actively in International Women's Day. It is part of our culture and our essence as a company, since our ultimate goal is to accompany women in their different stages and thus improve their quality of life. That is why this day is one of the most important days of the year for us; so much so that we try to bring its meaning and essence to every day of the year. Year after year we try to dedicate more and more time, efforts and resources to working for diversity and equality in our company and outside of it; diversity and equality in its broadest sense and at all levels.
The IWD 2022 theme of #BreakTheBias is especially relevant to us, because we firmly believe that without the work of everyone, individuals, women and men, companies and institutions, it will be impossible to end the many biases that we still see every day and everywhere. Let's break the bias on equal conditions and wages for women at work; Let's break the bias on menopause in the workplace; Let's break the bias on mental health, a silenced issue and especially relevant in this COVID era; Let's break the bias and increase awareness about the LGTBQ + community in companies, and let's fight for their equality and for the pride of each person to be who they are and to love those they love; Let's break the bias on sexist violence against women, a scourge that we must completely eradicate; Let's break the bias in the way we communicate, in the language we use as individuals and as companies; Let's break the bias in our communities, in our schools and in our offices.
We are already defining our 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility plan, and undoubtedly the collaboration with Woman’s Trust, the specialist domestic abuse mental health charity, is one of the central actions and of which we are most proud. We will humbly try to do our bit to help these women progress in life and overcome those terrible episodes in their lives.
