Advocating for gender equality in the tech sector

Working within a sector that is underrepresented by women, Idox is committed to being part of a change.

In 2020, we launched Idox Elevate, a programme sponsored by Idox plc board members, committed to championing a truly inclusive culture and building gender equality at all levels of the organisation.

By increasing the representation and retention of women in technical and leadership roles within the business and supporting our cultural development, we continue to make Idox a more welcoming and inclusive place for women to step forward in their careers.

In the past year, we have created opportunities to educate and create allies across our operations.

We’ve been inspired by presentations from women working in our industry and our closer partner network, connected our people to mentoring opportunities where they can both learn and share their knowledge and continued to support our colleagues to build better work-life balances through flexible working.

All these initiatives come together under the Idox Way, where we recognise that our talents, diversity, and uniqueness is the foundation that unites us as individuals and allows us to achieve extraordinary things as a collective.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, I look forward to joining my colleagues for a number of internal activities led by Idox Elevate.

Together we will #BreakTheBias and continue to build an inclusive Idox, where people feel empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
