I am pleased to join my colleagues around the world in celebrating International Women's Day again this year.

I would like to pay tribute to all of you for your efforts to support women's empowerment.

Since its establishment in 1988, NTT DATA has served a wide range of customers' businesses and social systems with IT technologies based on deep customer understanding and advanced technological capabilities.

Today, NTT DATA has sales of over 4 trillion yen and 200,000 employees who provide high-value, future-oriented services to customers and society in more than 50 countries and regions around the world.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) supports our strategy for continuous innovation. NTT DATA is committed to ensuring that employees of diverse nationalities, cultural backgrounds, languages, and other attributes can shine, develop their skills and contribute their talent. Under our DEI theme, "Bloom the Power of Diversity," NTT DATA promotes various inclusion initiatives in cooperation with DEI-promotion offices in each region.

In May 2023, NTT DATA's efforts were certified under the Global Equality Standard*, a comprehensive DEI evaluation system based on six indicators: Culture, Learning and Development, Feedback Mechanism, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Flexible Working, and Caring Responsibilities.

We will continue to advance our DEI strategy to best serve the needs of our communities and our 200,000 employees. As part of that commitment, executives and employees from around the world are organizing a variety of events to celebrate International Women's Day 2024.
