A world free from discrimination is a truly remarkable gift

Let's join forces and Inspire Inclusion!

This International Women’s Day serves as a powerful reminder that although we have come a long way, our work towards equality in Australia is far from over. We must continue striving for progress both locally and globally, tackling discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, ability, and sexuality head-on.

Our legacy to future generations should be a world free from discrimination - a truly remarkable gift.

Envision a world without discrimination; it would be a place of enduring peace, stability, protection, and the freedom to thrive, learn, and contribute. Let's embark on this journey together, as the quest to end discrimination starts with us, in our everyday lives, workplaces, and communities.

At Feros Care, we don’t conform to people's preconceptions about sex, age, gender, or ability. We have the privilege of supporting seniors and people living with disability who are determined to squeeze the most from every day. We live by the daily mantra of get up, get out, and do the things that bring you joy. There are no limits. We call it Growing Bold.

We are lucky to have so many truly remarkable and empowered women in our organisation, who embody the premise of International Women’s Day. A perfect example is Deepa Shrestha. Her journey from arriving in Australia in 2017 with no formal qualifications to becoming Clinical Manager at Wommin Bay is an inspiring one.

Let's celebrate the tenacity and success of women like Deepa, as we strive for a more inclusive and equitable future.

Together, let's #InspireInclusion.
