International Women's Day serves as a powerful reminder of our collective commitment to inspire inclusion around the world.

In 2023, our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives focused on advancing leadership opportunities for women and underrepresented groups. Employees received training in reflective leadership, emphasizing trust-building and fostering inclusion, authenticity, and empowerment. Additionally, nearly 2,000 women in the U.S. engaged in workshops led by our Women’s ERG, focusing on personal development, branding, and crucial conversations. These initiatives not only empower women but also enrich our organizational culture with diverse perspectives and insights.

At the heart of Fresenius Medical Care's mission lies a profound belief in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion to drive innovation, ignite creativity, and foster collaboration among our team. To inspire inclusion in my team, I truly encourage open dialogue, welcome diverse perspectives, and ensure that everyone feels safe and empowered to contribute their ideas. When a team operates with real trust, that’s inclusion at its essence.

Diversity can only thrive within an inclusive environment. Inclusion means ensuring that every individual feels respected, valued, and appreciated for their unique contributions.

On International Women’s Day – and every day – let us recognize the diversity of voices, talents, and perspectives that women offer, creating pathways for all to thrive.

Together, we cultivate a culture where every woman is valued, empowered, and embraced in the journey towards equality.
