This inaugural International Women’s Day Lunch is the result of a passion project by our hosts, Davina and Kim, who saw a need for high-quality networking events that truly celebrate women’s accomplishments. We aim to honor the incredible women in our network and support the vibrant female community around us.

Davina Lacey - I am a qualified Business Broker and the owner of Stockbridge Business Brokers, a boutique business broking firm. After years of owning my own businesses, I sold them and hated the process, including the lack of female energy in the industry. So I joined Stockbridge, and pretty quickly decided, it was time for business ownership again, but slightly differently. I have 2 beautiful boys in Primary School, I love margaritas, the Brisbane Lions and any excuse to get me outdoors is a win in my eyes!

Kim Hope - Kim is a Financial Adviser and shareholder of Sherrin Partners, a full service financial planning firm based in Brisbane. In her many years in the industry, she’s worked with just about every type of client you could imagine, but particularly enjoyed working with Female Professionals, who she’s found often underestimate their ability to make good financial decisions. She also specialises in supporting people navigating the sometimes complex financial implications of separation and divorce. Kim has 3 children (who ensure she never gets an ego), and loves drinking wine and talking rubbish - two things she thinks she’s really excellent at.

We are incredibly passionate about empowering women in whatever way they need. And believe International Women’s Day should be celebrated by one and all. And if in that process, we can support an incredible charity, do some networking, and have some fun, why not!
