Camden Council’s IWD Gala evening celebrates women’s achievements (especially local women), raises awareness of issues of women’s equality, and promotes the message that we all have a role to play in accelerating the gender parity journey.

The event will be held on Thursday 6 March 2025 and take place at Gledswood Homestead & Winery.

All proceeds from ticket sales of the event will be donated to a local charity or not-for-profit organisation whose services directly benefit residents of the Camden LGA.

ABOUT IWD:

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Celebrated annually on 8 March, the day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.

The broad objectives of International Women's Day are to:
