Following the success of last year’s inaugural talk, Huntingdon Town Council will be holding another event as part of International Women’s Day.

This year’s talk, held in collaboration with the Huntingdon and Peterborough Federation of WIs (HPFWI), will focus on the importance of women as volunteers and the impact they have on local and national communities.

There will be a keynote speaker from the WI, Anna Bradley Doorman, followed by a panel discussion, with Cllr Amanda Norton from Huntingdon Town Council, and Judith Barrass from Huntingdon Community Radio’s 21st Century Women.

There will also be time for Q&A, followed by refreshments.
