IWD 2025
At Wesco, we recognize that accelerating action isn’t just a call to celebrate progress - it’s a mandate to drive meaningful, impactful change.
As a leader in electrical, communications, and utility distribution and supply chain services, we understand the importance of moving the world forward, and that includes advancing gender equality across our organization, our industry, and the communities we serve.
The complexities of our business mirror the challenges women face globally, breaking through barriers and finding innovative paths forward to power progress.
Wesco’s inclusive culture is what sets us apart.
This International Women’s Day, we reaffirm our commitment to accelerating progress by:
- Investing in Leadership Development:
Our Women’s Impact Network (WIN) business resource group hosted 10 professional development sessions this past year open to all employees, regardless of gender, with the vision of expanding these programs in 2025.
- Building Community in the Workplace:
WIN connected with suppliers to share best practices and lay the foundation for collaborative events. The BRG also hosted eight in-person networking events.
- Driving Community Impact:
WIN collaborates with organizations that empower females in STEM and supply chain education and careers to create lasting impact. The BRG also spent nearly 1,000 hours volunteering in the community, raised more than $4,000 for local charities and donated $30,000 to community partners in 2024.
True acceleration requires sustained efforts and measurable outcomes.
Together, we are shaping a future where women are not just participants, but trailblazers in our industry.
When we empower women, we power progress – for our business, our industry and the world."
