ABOUT THE MENTOR RING
The Mentor Ring was established as a limited company by guarantee with charitable objectives in December 2010, and established as a registered charity in November 2012.

Our vision is that no individual should be excluded from active participation in employment, training, education, community life or leisure and social activities because of cultural, language, physical, mental or emotional health and well-being issues or lifestyle choices; and that everyone should be able to enjoy a healthy self-esteem and reach their full potential.

We are dedicated to fostering stronger and more cohesive communities by promoting understanding among diverse sections of society, cultivating mutual respect and tolerance, and overcoming barriers to social inclusion. These guiding principles resonate throughout our organization, encompassing our staff, volunteers, clients, funders, supporters, and the way we conduct our business.

We offer tailored mentoring programs in education, employment, health, and community cohesion. Our approach combines personalised support with group activities to help people overcome barriers and thrive. Through workshops, skill-building,events and health initiatives, we promote social inclusion, well-being, and a sense of belonging in both Wales and England.

As a socially inclusive organization, we uphold the values of respect for human rights, societal diversity, and the advocacy of equality for all. Our services we provide are not only rooted in the South East Wales area but also extend to the London Borough of Bexley, covering Slade Green and Erith, in addition to Dartford. While our initial focus addressed social inclusion barriers for local Minority Ethnic Communities, our vision is to gradually expand our reach to UK – wide mentoring service provider.
