2025 International Women’s Day Women’s March

Join us for the 2025 International Women’s Day Women’s March, a powerful gathering to celebrate the achievements of women worldwide, raise awareness of the challenges we continue to face, and inspire action toward gender equity. This year’s theme, #AccelerateAction, calls for collective commitment to building a future where all women, regardless of background, can thrive.

International Women’s Day is a global movement recognizing the social, economic, cultural, and political contributions of women while highlighting the ongoing fight for gender equality. The Women’s March is a space for reflection, advocacy, and solidarity—a reminder of our shared responsibility to challenge injustice, break down barriers, and create lasting change.

The 2025 march will feature keynote speakers, performances, and community-building activities that amplify the voices of women from diverse communities and highlight the importance of intersectional advocacy. Together, we will march to honour progress, address inequities, and champion the rights and opportunities of women everywhere.

WHO WE ARE
The Interior Women’s Leadership Network (IWLN) is a dynamic coalition uniting thought leaders, stakeholders, researchers, workers, community members, and survivors to address issues impacting women across BC’s Interior. Our mission is to foster advocacy, inform policy, and promote equity through collaboration and research. As a trusted voice, we aim to be a key advisory body for government on policy development, funding decisions, and critical issues affecting women in the region.

IWLN is dedicated to bringing cutting-edge research to the Interior, spearheading regional advocacy initiatives, and collaborating on projects and funding opportunities that advance women's equity. We host monthly meetings, supported by subcommittees driving advocacy planning, and hold an annual in-person gathering to strengthen connections and celebrate progress. Together, we are building a powerful network for change in BC’s Interior.
