Join us for a Sunrise Yoga session and breakfast at Perth City Farm to celebrate International Women's Day. Start your day in the best possible way, connecting with like-minded professionals and embracing the spirit of this special occasion.

This year our International Women’s Day event will commence with sunrise yoga followed by a light breakfast and barista coffee, closing with a keynote address from Professor Karina Jorritsma (Future of Work Institute, Curtin University).

Professor Jorritsma co-developed the ‘Thrive at Work’ initiative, which focuses on creating good work design for all and overcoming contemporary work design challenges that are particularly applicable from a gendered lens - such as flexible work, industry differences in quality work, and the positive and negative impact of advances in digital technology for women.

Since 1995, women have broken barriers, reshaped policies, and ignited powerful movements worldwide.

But despite these advances, millions of women and girls still face systemic inequalities, rising violence, and economic disparities that hold them back from reaching their full potential.

‘March Forward’ reminds us that progress is not just about reflection but about taking decisive, bold steps to turn our commitments into action.

This is our moment to drive change and ensure a truly equal future for all women and girls.

We encourage you to support this event and once again make the morning a huge success!

Places this year are limited, so don’t forget to book your place early.

This is open to ALL levels of Yoga whether you’ve never done it before or are a master of the craft.

Recommended attire is comfortable and appropriate wear for light low-level exercise, and you can either BYO yoga mat or we will supply one for you on the day.

The is room to change at the venue for those going straight back to an office that does not have a place for you to change.

Learning outcomes:

- Discuss industry differences in quality work
- Explain positive and negative impact of advances in digital technology for women
