Empowering Women, Shaping the Future: Convergint’s Dedication to Gender Equality

When I first became CEO of Convergint, I knew I was taking on a new, exciting role at a dynamic and growing company. But also, that I was stepping into an industry where women are underrepresented, particularly in leadership. But real change isn’t just about women earning new corporate titles; it’s about creating an environment where diverse voices are heard and valued. At Convergint, Accelerating Action is not just a commitment; it's part of our DNA and reflected in our 10 Values and Beliefs. These Values and Beliefs emphasize service, integrity, and continuous improvement, guiding us to provide an environment where everyone has equal opportunities to grow, lead, and succeed.

In celebration of International Women's Day (IWD) 2025, Convergint proudly joins organizations worldwide to accelerate action for gender equality. The reality is stark: at the current pace, full gender parity won't be achieved until 2158, five generations from now. This urgency demands swift, decisive actions to break down systemic barriers and biases that hinder women's advancement, both personally and professionally.

Our efforts to champion gender equality are intentional and grounded in real action. We’ve launched initiatives that amplify women’s leadership like Convergint Women Connect, a colleague-led affinity group at Convergint to evolve culture through advocacy, education, community, and visibility. Through mentorship and professional development, we support women's growth within Convergint, and empower underrepresented groups to pursue careers in the Security industry. We overcome systemic barriers by ensuring equitable access to opportunities, reviewing our practices to eliminate unconscious bias, and creating a culture where diverse voices are heard and valued. We recognize the importance of diversity in our workforce so we can foster an inclusive culture for our people which empowers us to also be the best service provider to our customers.

As we mark IWD 2025, Convergint reaffirms its dedication to accelerating action for gender equality. Meaningful progress requires continuous effort, reflection, and collaboration. Together, with our colleagues, partners, and the broader community, we can break down barriers, challenge systemic biases, and create a future where gender parity is not just an aspiration but a reality.
