When I think about the theme of this year's International Women's Day, Accelerate Action, I am reminded of my own journey of learning and unlearning.
Over the years, I've seen how focused action - not just good intentions, can drive real progress in creating opportunities for women.
I’m encouraged by the steps we are taking to increase the number of women partners in our firm, develop gender diversity action plans in key geographies and strengthen our community of DEI champions to collectively drive progress.
Gender equity does not happen automatically. It requires all of us to commit to meaningful change, to challenge biases and to actively empower women where it really matters.
Together, we can build the momentum needed to tackle the gender gap and create workplaces and societies that value everyone equally.
Our member firms around the world are taking deliberate steps designed to create lasting change and Accelerate Action.
We believe that through targeted programmes, regular assessments, the sharing of best practices, and cross-border collaboration, we can quicken the pace towards achieving gender equality.
Together, we are not just envisioning a better future; we are actively working to build it.
