The ANA Group views Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as a key component of its management strategy.
The company is actively working to transform corporate culture and awareness, establish measurable targets, and develop HR measures for its employees. In line with the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) "25by2025" initiative to promote gender diversity, we are committed to increasing the representation of women in senior roles and in traditionally male-dominated areas like flight operations. Our goal is to achieve these targets by April 2025.
Furthermore, we have set an ambitious target to have 30% or more female executives and managers in the early years of the 2020s. To achieve this goal, we are implementing various measures, including reviewing our HR policies, enhancing skill development programs, and fostering a culture of diversity that empowers employees to make autonomous decisions.
It is worth noting that in the "Gender Gap Index 2024," Japan ranked 118th out of 146 countries. Addressing the gender gap requires a comprehensive review of attitudes and work practices within our organization, encompassing both men and women, as well as society at large.
We are proud to support the Global Compact Network Japan's (GCNJ) "GCNJ Collective Action 2030," a global framework aimed at achieving sustainable growth.
In January 2025, we announced our commitments to two key areas: creating an inclusive environment where employees with workplace and time constraints can fully utilize their talents; and fostering a culture where individuals of all genders can actively participate in household responsibilities.
Our goal is to create a society that maximizes individual strengths and diversity while promoting well-being for all.
Having declared the "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Promise" to the public in April 2015, this year marks the 10th anniversary of our commitment.
We remain dedicated to driving positive change, unlocking new opportunities, and fostering sustainable growth by leveraging the unique strengths of our global workforce.
Our ongoing efforts aim to advance gender equality not only within our organization but across Japanese society as a whole.
