For 26 years, the London Abused Women’s Centre (LAWC) has been celebrating women and girls’ social, economic, cultural, and political achievements through the annual International Women’s Day (IWD) Breakfast.
This year’s event features bestselling author of Looking for Jane, Heather Marshall.
Heather worked in politics and communications before finally turning her attention to her true passion: storytelling.
Not only will we get to hear about Heather’s writing, but also Heather will be making copies of her upcoming novel Liberty Street, available for purchase, with proceeds in support of LAWC. Liberty Street will be published on Feb.24th, so this is your chance to get an early copy for as long as time allows on such a busy morning.
The annual breakfast event offers a morning filled with great conversation, great networking, a game or two, and a selection of exceptional auction items. Come celebrate with us and make a difference in the lives of women and girls on their healing journey.
Events listed in the free IWD Events Directory are user-generated. Any enquiries should be directed to the event organizer.
