Join us virtually at 2:00 PM WAT / 9:00 AM EDT for International Women’s Day 2026, as Woven Impact Network convenes women, partners, policymakers, and allies under the global theme, #GivetoGain.
This dynamic virtual gathering will create space for meaningful dialogue, shared learning, and collective action toward advancing gender equity.
International Women’s Day is a global moment to recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women while accelerating progress toward gender equality. Despite important strides, many women — particularly those in underserved and grassroots communities — continue to face systemic barriers, including limited access to education, digital tools, economic opportunities, and leadership platforms.
The theme Give to Gain underscores a powerful truth: when women are intentionally invested in, communities and economies gain exponentially. This event will highlight the impact of mentorship, access to resources, and inclusive policies while amplifying women’s lived experiences as leaders, innovators, and change-makers.
Participants can expect meaningful dialogue, shared insights, and actionable strategies designed to inspire collective action, strengthen partnerships, and advance inclusive, sustainable growth.
Confirmed Speakers Include:
- Naomi Nwakolo (CEO/Executive Director of the United Nations Global Compact Network Nigeria)
- Bunmi Abejirin (Customer Experience & Retail Sales Expert)
- Olasubomi Sofowora (Founder, Woven Impact Network)
- Mariam Lawani (Founder/CEO of Greenhill Recycling)
At Woven Impact Network, we are committed to empowering women and girls through capacity building, advocacy, and community-driven solutions. This event reflects our mission in action — creating platforms where women’s voices are amplified, leadership is strengthened, and collective progress becomes possible.
