 IWD 2026

At APU JSC, we believe that progress is not a zero-sum game.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, we are proud to align our efforts with the global Give To Gain theme. For us, this means that when we give opportunities for education, equity, and advancement, we collectively gain a more resilient, innovative, and sustainable Mongolia.

Our commitment is rooted in our "Proudly Mongolian" Sustainable Development Strategy, specifically under the third pillar: Empowered People.

We understand that true empowerment starts with removing barriers to growth, whether for the next generation of leaders or our own dedicated workforce.

Investing in the Future: Give to Gain

Our commitment to the next generation and our own employees is demonstrated through our landmark educational initiatives, which we successfully launched and implemented in 2025:

InnovTalent Scholarship: Throughout last year, we gave tuition, coaching, and paid internships to 100 students through the APU Academy and a partnership with NTV, ensuring a pipeline of future-ready Mongolian talent.

Brew the Future Scholarship: Established as part of our 2025 strategic action plan, we began investing in our own "hidden gems” - employees who started their journey in the most physically demanding, entry-level roles without previous access to higher education. By giving them the opportunity to earn professional certificates and degrees, we gain a loyal, highly skilled workforce capable of moving "Always Forward". Bridging the Leadership Gap Our latest gender data reflect both our progress and the unique challenges of the Mongolian industrial landscape.

Entry-Level Reality: Due to the nature of production and logistics, our entry-level workforce remains predominantly male at 82.9%.

Middle-Management Success: We have successfully fostered a strong pipeline of female talent in our middle management, where women now represent 53.8% of leaders.

Top-Management Ambition: While women represent 46.2% of our Management Team, they currently hold 28.6% of Executive Vice Management positions.

Under the Give To Gain mandate, we are committed to giving more women the specialized training and career-up chances needed to achieve parity at the highest levels of corporate decision-making.

Addressing the Mongolian educational imbalance

To truly gain as a nation, we must also address the "reverse gender gap" that is unique to Mongolia.

Traditional herding practices often prioritize sending daughters to the city for higher education, while keeping sons at home to manage their livestock.

Based on external research, this educational imbalance has led to significant societal shifts, including rising divorce rates and a growing population of men who are restricted to entry-level manual labor because they lack formal qualifications.

APU JSC views Give To Gain as a mission for all Mongolians.

While we fight for the advancement of women in leadership, we also advocate for the education of Mongolian men.

By encouraging a balanced educational foundation for both genders, we gain stable families, a more versatile labor market, and a society where every individual can reach their full potential.

On this International Women’s Day, APU JSC pledges to continue giving — giving knowledge, giving support, and giving a path to leadership — so that together, we may gain a future that is Absolute, Pure, and Unique.
