Nomi Network aims to end human trafficking by creating pathways to safe employment, empowering women and girls to break cycles of exploitation in their families and communities.

Over 49.6 million people are currently being trafficked. Human trafficking is the exploitation of people for profit through recruiting, transporting, transferring, or harboring them by force, fraud, or deception. Many forms of human trafficking disproportionately affect women and girls. Human trafficking is fueled by generational cycles of poverty and exploitation.

Nomi Network continues its commitment to providing crucial support and opportunities for survivors and women at risk of human trafficking. In a world grappling with the grim reality of 50 million people being trafficked globally, one million of whom are in the United States, Nomi Network remains a steady presence in the lives of women and girls.

We work in regions where women and girls confront the highest risks of trafficking and experience the most substantial barriers to employment. Our initiatives are active in India, Cambodia, and the USA.

Eradicating human trafficking takes a network. Our network, which includes program partners, job creation collaborators, survivor leaders, and donors, helps us create safe employment pathways for those most vulnerable to trafficking.

Our organization is named after a girl named Nomi, whom the founders met while traveling in Cambodia. By the time Nomi was eight years old, she had been previously trafficked by her stepfather and suffered unthinkable abuse. Nomi Network was founded to be the network behind Nomi, providing a future for thousands of other women and girls like her. Today, Nomi is a resilient young woman who radiates warmth despite the trauma she has faced. Nomi inspires us to keep fighting for a world where every woman and girl can know her full potential.
