The IWD 2020 photography competition saw 38,600 entries
April 22, 2020
Congratulations to the Winner, Georgina Abreu, and the 10 Highly Commended entries.
With 38,600 entries received in the International Women's Day 2020 Photography Competition, the range of creativity was outstanding.
Photographers from around the world proudly entered their work to support the objective of presenting women in diverse and authentic ways. The IWD Photography Competition aims to challenge stereotypes and feature women in engaging and thought-provoking ways. Therefore the Competition was open to all genders - because forging an #EachforEqual world through imagery is not the sole responsibility of female photographers, but the responsibility of all photographers.
A big thank you to photographic community EyeEm who kindly collaborate on the IWD Photography Competition and provide the IWD Image Collection.
