NTT DATA's people around the world celebrated IWD and committed to Accelerate Action
International Women's Day (IWD) has been around for over 100 years.
NTT DATA also has a long history of promoting women's participation in the workforce.
In the early stages of telephone services in Japan in the late 19th century, women participated as telephone operators.
Since then, NTT DATA has continuously made efforts to expand employment opportunities and better working environments for diverse teams.
Today, NTT DATA provides IT services in over 50 countries and has created more than 190,000 jobs on a global scale.
NTT DATA's commitment not only helps increase women's participation in the workforce but also addresses issues faced by various types of minorities.
"We believe promoting women's involvement in the workplace benefits everyone. We continue to actively listen and incorporate the needs of diverse colleagues," says NTT DATA.
"This will lead to positive changes, as history has shown. Let's take another step forward together and embrace the power of inclusion."
Forging an inclusive and fair environment
