One Loud Voice for Women charity seeks to elevate women by influencing and reshaping workplaces
One Loud Voice for Women is a registered Charity in the United Kingdom and is part of the IWD Giving ecosystem.
So how does this charity give in order to help gain gender equality?
One Loud Voice for Women works to advance equality and diversity through promoting gender equality in the workplace. Its mission is to elevate women by influencing and reshaping workplaces into the best modern-day work cultures of equality, psychological safety, and opportunity.
The charity is helping rethink support for mid-career women and is encouraging groups to move from stalled progress to collective action.
Is the focus on equality stalling?
One Loud Voice for Women believes that a turning point for gender equality has been reached, but that momentum is weakening and, in some areas, going backwards.
Women at the mid-point of their career - or the so-called ‘sticky middle’ – face many invisible barriers and can often experience a lack of support in the workplace caused by rigid corporate structures from a bygone era. One Loud Voice for Women says that this is hardly a testament to enlightened 21st century thinking and is not a picture that the charity wants to stand by and watch unfold. As such, the charity is hailing the start of a new community built by women for women.
Founding sponsors are kickstarting solid action

The One Loud Voice for Women Thrive Community is a place where women can draw strength and support from mentors, both men and women, as well as comfort from each other. For many women at this point in their career, trying to advance further up the corporate ladder can often feel like a choice between family or job. The charity believes more can be done to support women and companies.
For International Women’s Day 2026 in support of the Give to Gain campaign theme, the charity is calling on leaders to consider joining its cohort of founding sponsors to help build a progressive community. Among those who have already pledged to support the charity and help make a positive difference are Andrew Pereira, Director of Progeny; Amanda Jenkins, Chief Impact Officer at TenX; and former accountant and business owner, Janardan Sofat. The contributions are being used to kickstart direct action to support women in breaking through workplace barriers at the mid-career level, which is hoped will lead to further donors stepping forward.
A future where everyone benefits
One Loud Voice for Women says that donating to the charity is "not passive philanthropy, but active empowerment" and that the Thrive Community will be a safe, supportive space where mid-career women can be seen and heard and helped to thrive through mentorship, resources, and a network that champions their success.
“When women are able to move forward instead of being held back, it creates a positive ripple effect that’s felt far beyond job titles,” explains Amanda Jenkins. "Confidence grows, families benefit, and organisations become stronger. Supporting this work isn’t charity to me, it’s an investment in women finally being able to realise their full potential."
Amanda's comments are echoed by Andrew Pereira, who said: "I really believe the Thrive Community is so important. I’ve seen how barriers and attitudes in the workplace can affect the careers of the women around me and the potential that is wasted as a result. When women progress into leadership roles, everyone benefits. The culture is better, teams are stronger, creativity rises and businesses thrive as a result."
Discussing the integral role men can play in helping achieve a better and more diverse boardroom picture, Janardan Sofat said: "Men in senior roles need to be far louder about gender equality. Supporting women’s progression isn’t just the right thing to do, it makes organisations smarter and more successful. This is why I’m happy to be a founding donor to help kickstart the 1LV community. I want the future workplace to be one where everyone can thrive."
Supporting the 26 for 2026 Campaign
To seed fund the Thrive Community project, the charity is seeking 26 founding sponsors. 26 for 2026 is a symbolic commitment that will see 26 women supported as part of a cohort of visionaries who believe in the power of collective action.
"Built on the belief that women thrive when they are connected, confident and capable, the Thrive Community provides the space, support, and practical tools that mid-career women need to grow, lead, and flourish on their own terms. Becoming a member means joining a cohort of women who understand this stage of your career and are committed to growing together," says the charity.
One Loud Voice for Women believes those who donate to the community to support the women will directly benefit from recognition of best practice, the direct connection with the women they support via their donation, updates regarding the charity's milestones and impact, participation in events, and the knowledge that they are helping shape better workplaces fit for the 21st century.
The charity also has a target in 2026 of securing 260 donors. "Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference," says the charity.
