The video sets a tone for what Give to Gain means for HGS - not in theory, but in the small, everyday choices made by colleagues and leaders.

“This year’s theme is Give to Gain. It’s a simple idea - when we give time, space, recognition, encouragement, or opportunity, we help others grow. And when people grow, teams get stronger,” says HGS introducing the video.

Small acts that create meaningful gains

HGS executives Venk Korla, Shilpa Sinha Harsh, and Giridhar GV explore an idea that lives in everyday moments and small acts that create meaningful gains.

HGS Global CEO Venk Korla introduces the video, saying: “As we approach this International Women's Day, I want us all to pause and think for a few minutes. Throughout this month of March, you will hear various conversations about what this is all about. It'll be about contributions and how we can share. As we go through these conversations, take a little time to ask the most important question. What is something you can contribute to make a difference? Because when we give intentionally, we make a huge difference in everyone's lives and in our own.”

Following Venk’s inspiring words, HGS Executives Shilpa Sinha Harsh and Giridhar GV share their interpretation of the Give to Gain theme.

“Inclusion is not built in a day. It is built through daily interactions. And sometimes what makes the biggest difference is being seen, heard and supported. And each of us can create that impact not through brand gestures but simple thoughtful actions,” explains Shilpa.

“When we say give, it's about our everyday actions. Giving somebody your time, giving somebody an opportunity to lead, giving somebody visibility in a meeting or just giving somebody an opportunity to be heard. Giving comes in multiple ways. It's just about our daily actions. And when we do these things consistently, it'll go a long way in building somebody's confidence. It can help in building somebody's career. And more importantly we will build a culture which is inclusive,” adds Giridhar.
