Dr Bushra Jamil

Dr Bushra Jamil is HEC approved supervisor for BS, M. Phil and PhD programs. She has keen interest in research and teaching.
She is the Founding Director/CEO of an entrepreneurial initiative dubbed as "BJ Micro Lab (Private) Limited". The guiding principle of BJ Micro Lab is to promote research in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) as a passion.
BJ Micro Lab is registered with Government of Pakistan under companies act 2017 by Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as a Research and Development center. BJ Micro Lab is actively engaged in promoting women led entrepreneurial initiatives in STEM. At BJ Micro Lab, Dr Bushra has conducted many hands-on trainings and workshop.
Prior to that Dr Bushra served as Assistant Professor at National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) and at University of Lahore, Islamabad campus. In addition to that I served at Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP).
Dr Bushra has published more than 25 articles in national and international journals and she is the author of four international book chapters. She has presented her work twice in America and in numerous national conferences. She has chaired and co-chaired many technical sessions. Her impact factor is more than 80.
Dr Bushra did PhD in nanobiotechnology and microbiology. Her research focus during PhD was on development of nano-particles to be used as nano-carriers for drug delivery purposes. She has a strong predilection for pedagogical pursuits.
Fortunately, she is also imbued with research aptitude. Despite having three very young kids and strenuous family life engagements, she is pursuing her profession with full zeal.
