Gillian Jones-Williams is the Managing Director and founder of Emerge Development Consultancy. In 2020 she was announced as one of f: Entrepreneur #ialso2020, a campaign run by Small Business Britain to celebrate female entrepreneurs.
Gillian founded Emerge over 25 years ago and has worked on organisational strategy development and change initiatives with companies worldwide.
She is a Master Executive Coach working with many CEOs and senior executives.
As an international speaker, she has been invited to take the stage at many high-profile events around the world including Australia, USA, Europe and the Middle East.
Gillian is also an Amazon best-selling author having published ‘50 Top Tools for Coaching’ in Autumn 2009 which is now in its 5th edition. She is an expert in organisational culture change and her book ‘How to Create a Coaching Culture' is in its 2nd Edition. She also published ‘Locked Down but Not Out’, a book about the pandemic and her battle to save her business during the lockdown, which she wrote to raise money for the bereaved families of NHS workers.
In the last 5 years, she has been specialising in Inclusivity and Diversity, working with organisations to support them to design inclusivity strategies and delivering programmes on Inclusive Recruitment, Inclusive Leadership, Conscious Inclusion, Anti-Sexual Harassment, Bullying, and Mental Health.
She was one of the first women to deliver Male Allies for Women’s Safety workshops to corporate businesses, Universities and sports organisations following the death of Sarah Everard.
Gillian has also been championing Women’s development, she is passionate about supporting women to achieve their goals, develop their confidence and reach more senior positions. In 2015 she developed the acclaimed Empowering Women’s programme RISETM which is delivered in the UK, USA and the Middle East and has won an award in Saudi Arabia.
