Lori Mihalich - Levin, Esq

CEO of Mindful Return and a Parental Leave Expert

Lori Mihalich - Levin, Esq, was the healthcare partner of a large international law firm who recently stepped down to focus on her other leadership role as the CEO of Mindful Return.

She created an innovative paid benefit and modernized the workforce by offering a program that has proven success in using mindful approach and helping more than a thousand new parents navigate the back - to - work transition from parental leave as well as 85 employers retain 85% of their new parent talents.

She coached anxious and overwhelmed new parents practical strategies to help them feel calm, confident, and connected during their re-entry  transition from parental leave and how to use the skills they gained through their caregiving experiences to advance their leadership qualities even during COVID.

Lori has been a persistent women leader in her vision to address the leaky pipeline of highly capable women leaders and therefore when she was still a partner she pushed hard for and succeeded in obtaining: (1) permission to start a working parent affinity group at the firm; (2) permission to expand this group beyond lawyers and to professional staff; and (3) the elimination of the primary and secondary caregiver distinction in the parental leave policy for lawyers at the firm. (Her hope and dream is that this one day becomes the policy for all firm employees.)
