Jill Scott MBE is retired footballer, who has had an incredible career as a Midfielder for teams such as Everton, Manchester City and Aston Villa. Jill has also represented Great Britain at the 2012 and 2020 Olympic Games, and across prestigious competitions such as the UEFA Women’s Euro and the FA Women’s Cup. Jill began her football career playing for Sunderland Women, before joining   Everton Ladies in 2006.  After playing in the FA Women’s Community Shield, Jill was awarded the FA Players’ Player of the Year 2008, and went on to join Manchester City in 2013. She has also been on loan to Everton and Aston Villa, before announcing her retirement from professional football in 2022.

Jill has been a key player for the England national team since making her debut, earning her first appointment for her country as a member of the Under-19 side. She has since represented England at the 2007 World Cup, the 2009 UEFA Women’s European Championships, the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2022 UEFA Women’s Euro. Making history with the Lionesses, Jill helped her team to become the winners of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022. Also in 2022, Jill competed in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, finishing the competition as the Queen of the Jungle 2022.

Now retired from elite sport, Jill continues her legacy as an influential figure in the development of women's football in England. Widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, Jill retired as the second most-capped International footballer for England.
