Judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Co-Host of The RuPaul Show and winner of the 2020 Attitude Awards Ally Award

Michelle Visage is an American singer, television host, radio personality and media personality, best known for being a judge on RuPaul's Drag Race. She is also a judge on the British version of the show, and has been the Co-Host of The RuPaul Show. Before joining the RuPaul enterprise, Michelle was a member of the groups Seduction and The S.O.U.L. S.Y.S.T.E.M., ranked on the Billboard 100. Moving into radio and podcasts, Michelle was the host of RuPaul: What’s The Tee? And Michelle Visage’s fabulous Divas.  She has also recently collaborated with the famous band Steps, singing with the band on their track Heartbreak In This City.

Having long starred in RuPaul’s series of television shows, Michelle is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, and has been involved with a number of initiatives to promote them. She has committed much of her career to advocating for increased awareness and support of the LGBT+ community, and is a proud Ally. In recognition of her commitments throughout her career, Michelle has been awarded the 2019 and 2020 Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Competition Programme. She has also been awarded the 2015 Straight Ally Award, the 2018 Best Host Webby Award and the 2020 Producers Guild of America Award for Game & Competition Television. In 2020, she was also commended with the 2020 Attitude Awards Ally Award.

Having also appeared on spin-off shows such as RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, Michelle has become a revered advocate for the LGBT+ community. Hired as a speaker for International Women’s Day, Michelle will empower acceptance and support for marginalised communities, and make the world a more equal place for all.
