With a passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, Edyna manages ISPE's Women in Pharma group, a global initiative aimed at empowering and advancing women and other marginalized groups in the pharmaceutical sector.

ISPE's Women in Pharma community works collaboratively with ISPE members to create platforms that not only amplify the voices of women in the life sciences industry, but also provide avenues for skill development, mentorship, and networking on a global scale.

In her role, Edyna is responsible for spearheading international programming initiatives that bridge the gap between diverse professionals and industry opportunities.

Through innovative programming and global collaboration with industry professionals of all backgrounds, she strives to dismantle barriers, empower emerging leaders, and drive systemic change within the industry.

Edyna brings a unique blend of expertise in program development, strategic planning, and a deep commitment to creating inclusive spaces for women and other disenfranchised groups in the workplace.

Her journey in the industry has been marked by a consistent drive to break barriers and champion diversity at all levels, ultimately leading to healthcare equality.

Beyond the office, Edyna is a devoted wife and mother, bringing the same dedication to her family life as she does to her professional endeavors. She understands the intricacies of juggling multiple roles and navigating the challenges of career and family responsibilities.

As a Cuban American, and the mother to a multiracial, multicultural toddler, Edyna is proud of her heritage and actively engages in initiatives that celebrate diversity and inclusivity.

Her multicultural perspective serves as her personal driving force to move along the Women in Pharma mission, creating a more vibrant and globally aware community within the industry.
