Jessica Galica is the bestselling author of 'Leap: Why It's Time to Let Go to Get Ahead In Your Career.' Published in ForbesWomen, Business Insider, Fast Company, and MIT Sloan, Jess is recognized as a rising thought leader when it comes to women, corporate careers, and motherhood. Since 2020 she has served as the IWD Keynote Speaker for nonprofit organizations such as UN Women and for-profit companies such as the tech leader SAS.
Before publishing Leap, Jess spent 15 years building a successful corporate career at some of the world's most prestigious companies like Apple, Bain, and Siemens. She navigated traditionally male-dominated corporate environments including management consulting and leading global sales teams in tech. In 2020 she began researching and writing about women's experiences in the workplace, as she craved a more authentic and purposeful career after stepping into motherhood.
Today Jess works as an Executive Leadership Coach, helping companies to advance underestimated talent into leadership positions and helping individual women to reach their peak success at work and in life. She hosts the "Reclaim Your Career" podcast and speaks to organizations about building meaningful careers, advancing women, and the delicate balance between life and work. Jess holds an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management and lives in Boston with her husband where she is a mom to two young children.
