Background:

Dilruba is a woman from Bangladesh in a very rural area. When her family migrated from Bangladesh, she did not know how to speak English.

She started working various odd jobs to support her family and elder siblings when she was 21 years old.

Her younger brothers were busy with their education so Dilruba worked day and night to make ends meet and, at the same time, she graduated from Georgia Tech with an Electrical Engineering degree. It was not easy for her.

Dilruba shares her experience about how she started her career on $5 per hour and from that now leads an engineering team at a cutting-edge technology company in Silicon Valley.
