Dilruba is an Award-Winning WomenTech Network Global Ambassador and Country Leader, as well as a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador and a Engineering leader at a prominent Silicon Valley security company. She also served as a jury member for the WomenTech Global Awards 2021 and currently leads the IoT Security QA team at Palo Alto Networks.

With extensive experience in end-to-end software testing and leading engineering teams, Dilruba has worked with both large corporations and startups, including Microsoft, Cisco, RetailNext, and Hitachi Vantara. She graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in Electrical Engineering and later earned her MS in Engineering Management and Leadership from Santa Clara University. Active in Women in Technology networks, Dilruba frequently speaks at events and Podcast, inspiring others with her journey. In her free time, she enjoys acrylic painting and traveling.

Dilruba's background is a testament to her resilience and determination. Coming from a rural area in Bangladesh, she faced significant challenges when her family migrated to the United States, including not knowing how to speak English. At 21, she took on various odd jobs to support her family and siblings, while her younger brothers focused on their education. Despite these hardships, Dilruba managed to graduate from Georgia Tech with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Her journey from earning $5 per hour to leading an engineering team at a cutting-edge technology company in Silicon Valley is truly inspirational. Dilruba often shares her experiences to motivate others, demonstrating how perseverance and hard work can lead to remarkable achievements.
