A Reader in Music at Goldsmiths, Berta is a world specialist on voice, 18th-century Britain, and the fight for women's rights through music and stage works.
With rich experience in public speaking and BBC radio broadcasting, she excels in bringing across complex ideas and histories to general audiences.
