Cher Obediah is an indigenous speaker & domestic violence survivor empowering others to embrace their wisdom within to revolutionize their relationships, manage emotions and honour their authenticity.
Cher Obediah is Mohawk / Ojibway from the Turtle Clan, Six Nations Ontario with roots in Alderville First Nation.
She’s a filmmaker, artist, author and speaker who’s passionate about positive change and collective kindness.
As a product of colonial consequence she grappled with cultural disconnection, lack of belonging and the ache of an abusive relationship.
Her experiences propelled her on a path of self-discovery and trauma informed healing. She learned the art of awareness, mindfulness, getting unstuck, emotional resilience and untangling ingrained patterns.
Her reconciliation-with-self allowed her to step boldly into the light of her authenticity and extend a hand to those seeking strategies for a more meaningful life.
She envisions a future where people can live from the inside out with intuitive intelligence, compassion and understanding.
She believes it’s possible to create a foundation for future generations where mismanaging emotions is a thing of the past.
