Jillian is a woman in construction with over 15 years in the industry. She is also a women's history specialist and uses her time on the stage to blend her worlds together, weaving an interesting and unique narrative for her audiences.

Jillian draws parallels to the suffragists and women in construction both being "path pavers" that make is possible for us to exist with the rights and protections we have today. Jillian makes it clear, women are the changemakers and the ones always found on the frontlines of social reform.

She focuses on intersectional teachings with profound emphasis on inclusion. She knows American history is not always the sunshiny representation we were sold in school, so she respectfully gives context to what life was really like for all communities while keeping a positive and upbeat tone so as to entice the listeners to want to learn and not shut out the painful truth.
