As a Centennial College alumna and a respected Professor at Mohawk College, Calissa’s professional journey reflects her deep commitment to transforming lives through mental health advocacy and education.

Her expansive expertise spans private practice, hospitals, foster care support, child protection, brain injury rehabilitation, and school settings, among others.

For 14 years at Bartimaeus Inc., Calissa excelled in building community partnerships, coordinating services, and fostering impactful therapeutic relationships.

She is also a proud mental health business owner, creating innovative solutions to support individuals and families.

Recognized for her exceptional contributions, Calissa has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious RBC Black Diamond Ball Award.

Her leadership extends to serving on various influential boards, including her former role as a Board of Director for the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care (OACYC) and her current roles with the Pathstone Mental Health Foundation, the Niagara College Child & Youth Care Program Advisory Committee, and the Pangea Private Wellness Advisory Committee.
