Elee Joven

Cultural Intelligence Speaker, Mentor & Advocate

Elee Joven was born on the American territory island of Guam and raised by her grandparents between Guam and the Philippines.

Her strict grandmother had one condition for her – and that was for Elee to become either a doctor, engineer, or attorney – none of which panned out. Instead, Elee became a mother at age 18, something neither planned nor anticipated.

By the time she was 31, she had four children, no university diploma, and was the breadwinner in her family.

She decided to go back to university during the pandemic, and it was then that she discovered the one class that would change the trajectory of her life - Cultural Intelligence.

Elee Joven's passion for learning and travel has taken her to 29 countries (and counting), where she has embraced and absorbed the richness of diverse cultures. With over 25 years of experience in the corporate world, she has dedicated herself to personal growth and cultural exploration.

To date, Cultural intelligence (CQ) has mainly been applied and studied by business C-Suite execs and leaders of large organizations.

While IQ (intelligence quotient) and EQ (emotional intelligence) are widely recognized throughout the world, Elee believes that the future belongs to those that have intercultural intelligence and she is eager to share her invaluable insights and experiences.

Discover how cultural intelligence can empower you to lead a thriving life, bridging gaps and unlocking new opportunities. Join Elee on this transformative journey and see the world through a more enlightened lens.
