Georgie Parker

Passionate and inspirational figure who shares her transition from hockey to football and her resilience, mental health and wellbeing

Georgie Parker is a former member of the Australian women's hockey team, the Hockeyroos, and currently plays in the AFLW for the Collingwood Football Club.

She played over 100 games of hockey for Australia including the Rio Olympics, the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2014 Hockey World Cup. She retired from hockey after the 2016 Rio Olympics and turned towards other aspects of her life. This included donning the Collingwood footy guernsey and pursuing her media aspirations.

She is a passionate and inspirational figure who is always keen to talk about her transition from hockey to footy, resilience, mental health and wellbeing.
